KIDSUP MONTESSORI MANUAL
In order for your child to use the program most effectively, please highlight the following points:
Age selection and linguistics
KidsUP Montessori is a bilingual program that supports both English and Vietnamese. When starting to create an account, parents choose the right age for the course so the program gives lessons at a moderate level, then depending on the ability of each child, the most suitable lesson plan is applied and will be optimized gradually through KidsUP’s machine learning system.
- Easy level (2-3 years old): help children explore the world; learn about shapes and shadows; find the missing half;play simple jigsaw; acquire quick memory of locations; distinguish between high and low, large and small, heavy and light; learn about body parts.
- Medium level (3-5 years old): the games will increase in the number of answers as well as difficulty, combined with activities like getting acquainted with letters; choosing the right color to paint; learning about the food chain of animals; connecting many points to form a shape; simple coloring; learning how to tell time.
- Advanced level (4-6 years old): the difficulty of the games continues to increase, including logic games; maze games, games of numbers, quantities, simple operations and comparisons.”
II. Ideal learning environment
Before a lesson starts, the application will check the volume of the device for parents to adjust accordingly, which is quite important because before each question, there are instructions and encouragements from a virtual teacher. Help your child focus on the lesson, and avoid other noises like television sounds.
III. Combining the lesson with other additional features
In addition to 1000+ topicd lessons for children to learn every day, KidsUP Montessori provides more than 90 types of interactive games, sorted by right brain development excercises and left brain development exercises for children to practice weak skills.
The set of flashcards according to the GlennDoman method is divided into topics, and parents can set the time to swap cards by age. Cards should be swapd in 3 sessons each day. Each session includes 5 topics to help children train their right brain to increase synaptic connections and absorb information at high speed.
After each lesson, parents can sing along with their children based on a list of many nursery rhymes in the music lesson.
IV. Only study 1-2 times a day
KidsUP Montessori’s games are very interactive, the content is significantly diversified, which will intrigue most children and make them desire to learn continuously. However, experts also recommend that you create a break for your childreb to help them maintain their passion (specifcally the feeling of looking forward to the next lessons) as well as to give them time to absorb new knowledge. Parents should set 1 or 2 certain times a day for their children to study, then immediately put the device away.
V. Maintain a daily routine
KidsUP Montessori lessons are designed systematically and repeatedly, helping to stimulate and develop children’s thinking. Studying should be maintained with regular intensity. Increase the number of lessons depending on the child’s response instead of learning continuously and irregularly.
VI. Don't put pressure on your child
Parents, when playing with their children, are not recommended test their children but let them explore things and win rewards by themselves. Do not criticize or help your children play games since this will make them uncomfortable, have psychological dependence or play as a duty.
